Porsche sold the 901 for barely a year before a Peugeot trademark dispute forced the rename to 911, which makes it the shortest and rarest chapter in the lineage. Signal Red on the original narrow body is the purest expression of the Butzi Porsche shape — no aero, no widening, nothing that sixty years of development would later add.
